Covenant Coming into Fruition with Isaaka

Based on Genesis 18: Abrashem (the name may take some time to get used to) was on the plains of Mamre, sitting outside his tent in the heat of the day, when he saw three men standing by him. He ran to meet them, bowed, and asked them to stay so that he could give them a meal. Abrashem and Sara prepared a meal and the men ate under a tree. The men, appear to be two Angels and the Master Himself. They asked about Sara and the Great Spirit (the Master) told Abrashem that despite their old age, Sara would have a son.

Sara laughed (where Isaaka got his name from), and Great Spirit asked why she laughed, but she denied laughing. Two of the men then left for Sodom to see the levels of immorality there that had been reported. However, Abrashem stayed with the Judge (Master and Great Spirit) of all the earth to see if he’d have mercy on the city if ten righteous could be found. His prayer was heard. This meeting and dinner took place in Mamre, where Abram was living. Mamre is today Cape Town, South Africa.

Sodom Destroyed

The Angels left Abram and went to Sodom; that is leaving Cape Town and going into the Lesotho area today in South Africa. It was in the evening, that Lot, Abram’s nephew, was sitting near the city gate when he saw the two Angels arrive in Sodom. When Lot saw them, he got up, bowed down low, and said, “Gentlemen, allow me to serve you. Please come to my home. You can wash your feet, spend the night, and be on your way in the morning.”

They told him, “No, we’ll spend the evening in the city enclosure.” But Lot kept insisting until they eventually settled and went home with him. He quickly baked some bread, cooked a meal, and they ate (note, his wife didn’t make the meal, Lot himself did). This is when the evening would get very interesting. Before Lot and his guests could go to bed, every man, and we mean EVERY MAN, in Sodom, of all age groups, came and stood outside of his house. They were not there for a peaceful mission; they started shouting, “Where are your visitors? Send them out, so we can be mated with them!” Lot was terrified! He was thinking, ‘How could this happen on his watch’. Then he went outside and shut the door behind him.

Lot Offered His Daughters…???!!!

Then he said, “Friends, please don’t do such a terrible thing! If you want, I have two daughters who have never known a man. I’ll bring them out, and you can do what you want with them. But don’t harm these men. They are guests in my home (unless he really knew these were angels, Lot was tripping).”

Lot’s daughters must have not been good enough to make a Puff Daddy video, so that offer was rejected. The crowd responded, “Don’t get in our way.” They reminded him that he was a newcomer to the land, “You’re a foreigner. What right do you have to order us around? We’ll do worse things to you than we’re going to do to them if you don’t get out of the way and bring them out.”

The crowd kept arguing with Lot. Finally, they rushed toward the door to break it down. But the two angels in the house reached out and pulled Lot safely inside. Then they struck blind everyone in the crowd, and none of them could even find the door.

It Was Time to Flee

Today we’d say this was tear gas or some kind of smoke that takes away vision or they literally blinded the men at the door. Then the two angels said to Lot, “The Great Spirit has heard many terrible things about the people of Sodom, and He has sent us here to destroy the city. Take your family and leave. Take every relative you have in the city, as well as the men your daughters are going to marry, AND LEAVE.”

Lot went to the men who were engaged to his daughters and said, “Hurry up and get out of here! The Great Spirit is going to destroy this city.” But they thought he was joking, and they laughed at him. Early the next dawning the two angels tried to make Lot hurry and leave.

They said, “Take your wife and your two daughters and get away from here as fast as you can! If you don’t, every one of you will be killed when the Great Spirit destroys the city.” At first, Lot just stood there, stunned. But the Great Spirit wanted to save him. So the angels took Lot, his wife, and his two daughters by the hand and led them out of the city.

When they were outside, one of the angels said, “Run for your lives! Don’t even look back. And don’t stop in the valley. Run to the hills, where you’ll be safe.”

Go to Zoar

Lot answered, “You have done us a great favor, sir. You have saved our lives, but please don’t make us go to the hills. That’s too far away. The city will be destroyed before we can get there, and we will be killed when it happens. There’s a town near here. It’s only a small place, but my family and I will be safe if you let us go there.” “All right, go there,” the Angel answered. “I won’t destroy that town. Hurry! Run! I can’t do anything until you are safely there.” The town was called Zoar because Lot had said it was small.

As the sun came down, Lot reached the town of Zoar. The Great Spirit sent burning sulfur down like rain on Sodom and Gomorrah. He totally destroyed those cities and everyone who lived in them; it was an unnatural disaster never seen until that time.

Everyone was destroyed as well as their land and the trees and grass that grew there. According to Africa is the Land of Shem book series, and the Abantu Research and Study Bible, we believe Sodom is in the vicinity of the Polokwane area in South Africa, just south of the Zimbabwe border.

Salty

On the way, Lot’s wife looked back and the Great Spirit turned her into a block of salt. In American “black” communities, the phrase, “She was salty,” is popular for those who have events that do not go their way. It’s because they cry and have tears of salty flavor run down their face and they got the same result as Lot’s wife.

Remember, Abram prayed for Sodom and Gomorrah before this debacle. That same morning Abram got up and went to the place where he had stood and spoken with the Great Spirit. He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and saw smoke rising from all over the land—it was like a blazing furnace. When the Great Creator destroyed the cities of the valley where Lot lived, he remembered his promise to Abram and preserved Lot from the terrible destruction.

Moab and Ammon Origin

Lot was afraid to stay on in Zoar, thinking it would burn next. So he took his two daughters and moved to a cave in the hill country. We’re still in the continent of Shem (Africa). There is a strange twist to the story of Lot, Abram’s nephew. His daughters presumed the world had been demolished much like it was during the flood.

They believed they were the only survivors. In order to preserve life, they made their father drunk and they lay with him. That’s how Lot’s two daughters had children. The older daughter named her son Moab, and he became the ancestor of the Moabites. The younger daughter named her son Benammi, and he became the ancestor of the Ammonites. These both resided on the continent of Shem, not in the Levant.
