Noah and His Family (Genesis 9)
Listen to this article
In the book of Isaiah, the prophet said, “Destruction to the people who seek deep measures to hide their counsel (or plans) from the Almighty Creator, and (think) their works are in the dark. They say to each other, “Who sees us doing our dirt, who knows what we’re doing.” Surely, your turning of things upside down will be esteemed like the potter’s clay (Isaiah 29:16). In essence, Isaiah said to these wicked generations of vipers, “Will the handiwork of the Highest tell Him, “You didn’t make us.” Will the framed thing tell Him who framed it, “He does not understand?”
Unfortunately, humanity and the beast of the field (to a degree) have come to this thought process. In doing so, they have turned things upside down and disrupted so many simple things, it is a very serious problem today. It is our motivation to turn these things right side up.
Again, the prophet Jeremiah wrote the Gentiles will come to the Anointed Son of the Highest one day, from all the ends of the earth, and confess, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things where there is no profit.”
What Do We Have?
When I played basketball, when an unlikely shot maker took a shot and made it, we’d tell him to “Open his eyes,” insinuating that his successful shot was because he closed his eyes and made a wish, thus getting lucky and making the shot.
We want him to open his eyes and face the reality that he can’t shoot. Well, we want the nations to open their eyes and face the reality that they do not have the truth when it comes to things spiritual and biblical.
Open your hands, look inside your spiritual bag, and look at what you have today, Gentiles (nations), and understand it is of no profit. Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Sunday, and Easter are all just the very tip of the iceberg of unprofitable lies we have inherited for many generations.
Let’s begin rewalking through the scriptures.
We’re going to right some wrongs, some of which you, the reader, may hold dear to heart. We are going to take some authority you, the reader, may believe we do not have the authority to perform. We are going to re-rearrange some things you may decide to just throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Your thoughts may be, why believe us if the original scribes got it wrong? You’re justified in any way you decide after consuming this information. We are scribes for this generation and for people that sit in darkness, it is high time for you to see the Light and take action the best way you see fit. We will begin the story after the flood with the sons of Noah and Noah coming up out of the Ark.
1 And the Great Creator blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
The same command was given to Adam and Eve, Genesis 1:28
7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
8 And the Great Creator spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
12 And the Great Creator said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between the Great Creator and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 And the Great Creator said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
Ham is the father of Canaan.
19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.
20 And Noah began to be a husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken, and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brethren without.
Here we have another emphasis that Ham is the father of Canaan.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father, and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
26 And he said, Blessed be the Great Spirit the Great Creator of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant.
27 The Great Creator shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem, and Canaan shall be his servant.
Japheth lives in the tents or the lands of Shem.
This means a couple of things. When it comes to lands, another way they said tents, Japheth will live or dwell in the lands given to Shem. So how do we quantify where these lands are today? Outside literature such as the book of Jasher and Jubilees reports how the lands were divided, but let’s quantify this from ancient maps and established history.
