Welcome to UnprofitableLies.com, a website dedicated to exposing the unprofitable lies our fathers have inherited lies.
In a world where truth is elusive, we turn to the words of the prophet Jeremiah: ‘Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.’ Join us as we uncover the unprofitable lies revealed in scripture, exploring the falsehoods that have misled and the truths that set us free.
Unprofitable lie number two; we do not know the location of the Garden of Eden. People today will say all kinds of things concerning the location of the Garden of Eden spoken of in Genesis Chapter Two. Let us help you.
“We do not know where the Garden of Eden is,” or that it is mystical or submerged in the Atlantic Ocean are ideas and claims heard today.
The Book of Genesis describes the Garden of Eden as being at the source of four rivers, and many have suggested where it might be located. Here are some scholarly suggestings:
Southern (modern-day) Mesopotamia: At the head of the Persian Gulf, where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers meet the sea.
Armenia: Some have suggested that the Garden of Eden was located in Armenia.
Fertile Crescent: Others have theorized that the Garden of Eden was the entire Fertile Crescent or a large region in (modern-day) Mesopotamia.
Iraq: Some say that the Garden of Eden is traditionally located in Iraq, which is where Christianity was born and flourished.
Botswana: A DNA study suggests that the Garden of Eden was located in Botswana, south of the Zambezi River in the north of the country!
We have looked at a great deal of research and have come to this conclusion. The Garden of Eden is in the South African and Botswanan area. The area where the Creator placed Adam, and the rivers described in the scriptures, geographically tell us this location. Adam’s calendar is found there and so much more as the scientific DNA study has crucially suggested.
As you explore the rivers connected to the Garden of Eden, it becomes pretty clear.
